Overflow machines

Introduction

    The machine is ideal for synthetics, woolen, cellulose fabrics& their blends either in woven or knitted form.

    Processing can be carried out in rope form under atmospheric conditions as well as under high temperature up to 140℃, high pressure conditions. Rate of heating,cooling and hold time are controlled automatically through a microprocessor controller. Unlike jet dyeing machines where the cloth transportation is due to high speed jet nozzles, here a variable speed which is provided for cloth transportation. Thus distortion to fabrics construction is avoided and feel&handle of the fabric are retained.

    Overflow machine mainly consists of: main body&dyeing vessel: circulating pump:heat exchanger: variable speed winch: addition tank: pneumatic control valves: hand operated control valves: control system. Filter/stainer.


Installation

    Check the list of materials supplied as per the packing slip/Delivery . Carefully examine all the items for any possible damage.

    Arrangement of machine should be such that a sufficient space is available around the machine for easy of maintenance work. A properly designed foundation should be made for erecting the machine . On the common base frame , the machine completed with motors, pumps and main body should be set on the foundation and levelled using a spirit level too.

Operation instructions

   Put all switches on panel to “off” positions. Close the drain vales . Make sure that water is available for the mechanical seal cooling. Keep the manual depressurizing valve is closed position. Switch on the main supply to the control panel. Fill up water to required level.

    Start the pump & winch (at slow speed), feed the fabric to be processed . The loading and off of a cloth are very easy operations. One end of the fabric is put over the winch and into the nozzle. The fabric will be pulled in and stop with 1.5 meters remaining. Switch off the pump& Winch. The end of the fabric should be pulled out from the front portion of the main vessel by the hook. Both ends of the fabric should be pulled out to form a continuous rope.Main pump & Winch are switched on. Adjust the speed of the winch. The cloth will run smoothly in a rope form. Close the lid. The delivery nozzle hand valve should be adjusted as per the requirement. This depends on the quality of the fabric and the dyeing process etc. Prepare dyeing solution .Select the Program &Feed to the programmer, put all switches in Auto mode. The addition of dye solution can be done as per the requirement of the process through the addition tank on the machine. By opening the hand operated valves .This addition should be done only at atmospheric conditions. Close the valves. Once a dyeing cycle is over , open the lid only after reaching at a requirement of 80℃, Remove the cloth after opening the lid.
